Welcome

The University has introduced a range of Traffic Management and Travel measures designed to ensure the use of our scarce parking resources by the Univeristy community in a safe and efficient manner.

Drivers on campus grounds are expected to adhere to the speed limit and to be constantly vigilant of pedestrians at all times.

The University's Traffic management and Parking Policy for the 2013/2014 academic year will come into operation on Monday 30th September 2013 to include Designated Permit Parking and Pay and Display. This applies to all university car park spaces on both North and South Campus.

Enforcement of this policy will apply between 08.30-17.00 hours, Monday-Friday during term time, and on any other days at the discretion of the University. Permit parking restrictions will cease to be enforced after 9th May 2014 for all NUIM parking spaces for the summer period

The University will not accept liability for any loss from or damage to any vehicle using the campus facilities, however caused. Users of the car parks do so entirely at their own risk and subject to this policy.

Other than the areas highlighted in the parking map the regulation and enforcement of parking on the south campus, including the Pay & Display area, is a matter for St. Patrick's College Maynooth. St. Patrick's College may enforce their traffic management policy throughout the year. Please revert to - SPCM web site for further details.
